Verify that participants actually qualify.

Check study eligibility against participants’ source accounts, so your team can recruit with evidence behind the answers.

One criterion. A relevant source. Evidence your team can use.

YOUR APPLICATION REQUESTS

Verify that this participant uses Shopify.

Information needed

Product · Subscription status · Plan

Sample data. No account connection. Source and field support must be confirmed.

IN YOUR EXISTING PROCESS

Keep your screener. Add evidence where it matters.

A screener can tell you what someone says they use or buy. For a criterion that is hard to establish, add a source-account check before your team confirms a place in the study.

THREE PLACES TO START

Recruit with evidence behind the answers.

01

The right product experience

“I use Shopify for my business.”
Candidate source
The participant’s Shopify account or subscription record.
Information returned, where available
Product nameAccount or subscription statusPlan, if exposed
In recruitment
Attach the evidence to the candidate’s screener before inviting them to a product study.
02

A purchase that fits the study

“I bought the product you’re researching.”
Candidate source
Retailer order history. Authenticated receipt email only where supported; email verification is in development.
Information returned, where available
Product or itemPurchase dateOrder ID, if available
In recruitment
Check the product and purchase window against your study criteria before scheduling.
03

A relevant membership

“I hold the membership this study requires.”
Candidate source
The issuing service’s membership or subscription account.
Information returned, where available
Membership typeCurrent statusRenewal date, if exposed
In recruitment
Use the returned status to review eligibility for a subscriber or member cohort.

Results can include the source, verification timestamp, and an evidence or proof reference where supported.

YOUR WORKFLOW STAYS YOURS

One part of recruitment

Source evidence complements your screeners and existing identity checks. Your team decides whether a participant meets the full study criteria.

KNOW WHAT THE EVIDENCE MEANS

Be precise about what a source proves

Account access alone does not establish expertise, purchasing authority, or legal identity. Check those separately when your study requires them.

FITS YOUR EXISTING WORKFLOW

A verification step.
Inside your product.

Add Reclaim at the point you need more evidence: a difficult eligibility criterion, a receipt exception, or an agent waiting on a user-authorized check.

  • Choose a source and the information to retrieve.
  • Let your user authorize the connection.
  • Verify returned proofs on your backend and apply your rules.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before your first test.

Discuss your workflow
Can I verify any product or membership?

Start with one criterion and its candidate source. The site, account permissions, and available fields determine what can be checked. The examples on this page are workflows to test, not a supported-source directory.

Does this replace screeners or identity checks?

No. Reclaim provides source evidence for a specific claim. Keep the screener, identity checks, and expert assessment you need to evaluate the participant.

What if a participant cannot complete verification?

Keep the criterion unresolved and offer your existing review path. An unavailable field, failed session, or declined connection does not establish that the person is ineligible.

Can participants verify a received receipt email?

Received-email verification is in development. Confirm support for the email source and required fields before including it in your study. Website account verification is the starting point today.

What should we bring to the first test?

Choose one eligibility criterion, the source account that may contain the evidence, and the fields your recruiter needs. Use a test account you are authorized to access, then review whether the result answers the criterion.

ONE CLAIM. ONE SOURCE. A PLACE TO START.

What makes someone right for your next study?

Bring one real workflow. Let’s find the source, agree on the fields, and test the result together.
